Contributing to the Revision of "SDGs Implementation Guiding Principles" of the Government of Japan

On 19 December 2023, the 14th meeting of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Promotion Headquarters was held to revise the SDGs Implementation Guiding Principles, a medium- to long-term national strategy for implementing the 2030 Agenda and for achieving the SDGs in Japan and internationally by 2030. The revised version refers to "Halfway to 2030: Japan SDG Local and Regional Report 2023" and its analysis results, published by the United Nations Center for Regional Development (UNCRD). Its English version has just been published. UNCRD will continue to support the promotion of the SDGs at the local and regional level, both in Japan and abroad.
