Third National Stakeholders Consultation Meeting of the National Strategy on Waste Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (3R) for Indonesia

Indonesia held a one-day meeting to which about fifty central and local government officials were invited. The meeting confirmed that differences of localities must be taken into consideration in setting up programmes in the strategy, and that the strategy must make reference to, and clarify, the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders involved, including local governments.
