Background
The overall objective of the training workshop is to train the participants in techniques of harmonizing and integrating spatial and sectoral data and analyze and put them in thematic areas to prepare a draft regional plan. More specifically the workshop aims to:
- Review the data collected from the districts by the task force members;
- Train planners and development managers in techniques of spatial and sectoral data analysis;
- Train the participants in skills of converting spatial and sectoral data into thematic areas;
- Introduce the participants to techniques of harmonizing spatial and sectoral data and projecting future regional development scenarios; and
- To prepare a draft regional development plan for ENNDA.
