Contribution to Special Programme on Road Asset Management (RAMP)

UNCRD has been cooperating with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on the Road Asset Management Special Programme since 2019. This year, for the first time in three years, a three-day RAMP seminar was held in person by JICA in Nagoya, Japan. UNCRD Director Endo was one of the speakers and delivered a lecture on "SDGs and Urban Policy". He explained in detail about the current trend of SDGs and urban policy for building smart cities in their context, touching on UNCRD's relevant projects being implemented. The seminar was attended by 36 participants of JICA's "Core Human Resources for RAM Technology".
