On 13 July 2023, in New York, the United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD) will organize the side event at the 2023 High Level Political Forum (HLPF) titled "Towards Safe, Smart, Resilient and Sustainable Cities under the 2030 Agenda – Integrated Pathways to Transformation through Local Actions, Partnerships, Technological Interventions, and Infrastructure Development". Co-organizers and sponsors include the Ministry of Transport, Government of Malaysia, and the Japanese Permanent Mission to the United Nations. The event is supported by UN-Habitat, Toyota City, and SEED.
