UNCRD-LAC facilitates the implementation of various meetings aimed to discuss the Territorial Integration Committee (CIT, Spanish acronym) Agenda, in these meetings representatives of Bogota's government, various municipalities of the surrounding region and key stakeholders of the region participate and explore the possibility of its constitution.
This series of meetings were held to advance in the design of the Technical Support Document (DTS, Spanish acronym) which will serve as the basis for the CITs establishment. In these two meetings, the first draft of the DTS, which includes an proposal for the definition of the influence area, its characteristics in environment, social, economic and infrastructure matters among others which also lead to the definition of an agenda of action of the CIT and organization chart; as well as the agreement to constitute the initiative.
The workshops were held on 24 April and 15 May 2015.
