As a follow up to the continuing cooperation with MoE-Japan and IGES on 3R promotion in Asia, UNCRD conducted a consultation meeting in Ministry of Environment-Indonesia to facilitate the country preparations for the Senior Official Meeting (SOM) to be held in Tokyo from 6-8 March 2005 with the participation of G-8 and other Asian countries. The main objectives of the mission were (1) to conduct discussions/consultations in preparation for the 3R SOM Meeting and (2) to design the formulation process of the National 3R Strategy of Indonesia.
