Third National Stakeholders Consultation Meeting of the National Strategy on Waste Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (3R) for Viet Nam

Viet Nam had three consultations in the North Region (Hanoi), Central Region (Hue), and South Region (Ho Chi Minh City), inviting about seventy, fifty, and eighty participants, respectively. The meeting confirmed that differences of localities must be taken into consideration in setting up programmes in the strategy, and that the strategy must make reference to, and clarify, the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders involved, including local governments.
