Symposium for Club of Rome Report "The Limits to Growth" 50th Anniversary

On 13 October, UNCRD co-organized an online international symposium titled "Is Humanity Retrograding? Where is The Future of the Planet to Move Toward? -- An Asian Perspective --", in collaboration with the Club of Rome Japan, Chubu University, and the Central Japan SDGs Platform. DSDG/UN DESA delivered opening message. The main themes of the symposium were "What is the future of the earth that we should be heading for" and "What can we do for it from an Asian perspective?"

Six regular members of the Club of Rome and the world's leading scientists, engineers, and experts on humanity delved deeply into various aspects of nature, God, culture, food, water, energy, war and nuclear weapons, and explored universal philosophies.
