The United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD) is pleased to partner with Nagoya University in supporting and contributing to EcoBalance 2026, organized by the Institute of Life Cycle Assessment, Japan (ILCAJ), from 10 to 13 November 2026 in Nagoya, Japan, with an overarching theme of "Sustainability Hacks for Planetary Health".
The Conference provides an important international platform for bringing together scientists, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge and advance innovative approaches towards sustainable production and consumption, resource efficiency and circular economy. Through this partnership, UNCRD seeks to strengthen the interface between scientific research, policy development and practical implementation, while promoting integrated solutions that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and the transition towards a more sustainable, resource-efficient, resilient and circular society.
